METHOD FOR CHANGING MAP DATA OF NAVIGATION SYSTEM, ESPECIALLY UPDATING PARTIAL UNIT BY CHANGING CONSTITUTE INFORMATION OF ADJACENT NODE TABLE

PURPOSE: A method for changing the map data of a navigation system is provided to update the partial unit by changing the constitute information of the adjacent node table as the connection information between the units through using the communication navigation system. CONSTITUTION: A method for changing the map data of a navigation system includes the steps of: storing the adjacent node table constituted of the adjacent nodes(N12,N24) and the connection identification information and allocating the intrinsic connection identification(C1) for each adjacent nodes; determining whether the data is equal to the adjacent node for the adjacent nodes of the changed map data or not when the information change of the map data is generated in the unit; and maintaining the connection with the adjacent unit by assigning the connection identification when the determination result is affirmative and transmitting the updated unit to the navigation terminal.
