PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional digital signature system for registering a digital signature as the log data that cannot verify the log data by utilizing the linkage of the log data even when the genuineness other than the log data is lost on the occurrence of unexpected damages or falsifications in part of a log table. SOLUTION: The digital signature system includes a plurality of log data information items to a digital signature to generate the resulting digital signature and registers the digital signature to the log table. In the case of verifying the linkage of the log data in the log table, and the digital signature system is characterized in that the system verifies the linkage on the basis of the link information registered in the plurality of log data and the consistency of the other log data which are not destroyed.
