PROCESS FOR PRODUCING RESIN ROLL

A resin roll (1) comprising a lower winding layer (3) of fiber reinforced resin formed on the outer circumference of a roll core (2), and an outer tub e (5) of synthetic resin formed on the outside thereof through an adhesive lay er (4). A nonwoven fiber aggregate layer (8) composing the outer circumferentia l surface of the lower winding layer (3) is formed by impregnating tape-like nonwoven fiber aggregate, produced by binding a fiber material principally comprising inorganic fibers, with liquid thermosetting resin while being fed sequentially, and then winding it around the outer circumference of the roll core(2).
