The stirrup clamp can be pushed over two already positioned pipes (6,7) to fix them together. It comprises a clamping bracket (2), clamping plate (3) and clamping screw (5). The bracket is U-shaped so that the distance between the arms is produced from the radius of the bracket which is fixed dependent on the diameter of the pipe being clamped. A fork is formed in the two arms of the bracket to hold the pipe. The fork has in the outer region a toothed segment. The clamping plate is tensioned by the clamping screw against the one pipe which is supported against the other pipe and against the bracket.
