PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently attenuating a shellfish toxin accumulated in a shellfish. SOLUTION: This method for attenuating the shellfish toxin comprises efficiently conducting discharge of a toxic substance accumulated in the body of the shellfish, by making the shellfish ingest fine air bubbles and enhancing a metabolic function of the shellfish, so that the toxin is attenuated.
