摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy electrode for an alkaline storage battery in which inner resistance of the battery is reduced, and which is superior in output characteristics and a cycle lifetime. <P>SOLUTION: This is a manufacturing method of the hydrogen storage alloy electrode which is constituted of AB<SB>5</SB>type hydrogen storage alloy powder, and which contains an yttrium compound and a light rare earth family element compound. The total amount of the yttrium compound and the light rare earth family element compound is 0.5 to 2.0 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the hydrogen storage alloy powder, and in which it is preferable that the ratio of the yttrium compound is 60 wt% or more and the ratio of the light rare earth family element (La, Ce, Pr, Nd) compound is 7 wt% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
