PURPOSE: A clearance adjusting apparatus for a bearing is provided to allow the bearing installed between a housing and a shaft to move in a predetermined direction. CONSTITUTION: A clearance adjusting apparatus for a bearing(10) includes a friction reducing device, such as a ball and a pin. The friction reducing device is installed between an inner wheel section(11) and an outer wheel section(12) of the bearing(10). The bearing(10) is provided to allow a shaft to be easily rotated relative to a housing. The clearance adjusting apparatus includes an inclined surface(15) formed at the inner wheel section(11) and the outer wheel section(12) of the bearing(10) and an adjustment surface aligned in opposition to the inclined surface(15).
