PURPOSE: A cinerarium having earthquake-resistant construction is provided to maximize safety on placing remains by preventing the breakdown or overturn by an impact such as earthquake, etc. by supporting a cinerarium on the ceiling skeleton of a charnel house using wires. CONSTITUTION: The cinerarium(20) having earthquake-resistant construction installed in a charnel house(10) composed of an external wall and a ceiling contains many placing rooms of person's ashes formed by vertical bars and horizontal bars which are arranged in the latticed shape, wherein a supporter for a cinerarium(20) is fixed to a skeleton of the charnel house(10) and provided with one or more wires(30) which are fixed to the upper part of the cinerarium(20).
