PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering system equipped with an electric power steering device and a four-wheel drive controlling device which improve controlling performance, and reduce its cost and size. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device has an actuator 2 for an EPS including an assist electric motor, a sensor to detect wheel speed and steering torque or the like, and an electric motor assist controlling means 1 to control the assist electric motor according to the assist information. The four-wheel drive controlling device has: a driving power distribution transmission means 4 to 9 including a coupling 7; a sensor to detect the wheel speed and throttle opening degree or the like; and a distribution ratio variable controlling means 1 performing the variable control of the driving power distribution ratio of the driving power to be distributed to the front wheels and the rear wheels based on the four-wheel drive controlling information. Then, the electric motor assist controlling means 1 and the distribution ratio variable controlling means 1 are arranged within one storage case to provide an integrated controlling means 1.
