PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the processing of a fiber structure giving a high color-deepening effect in a wide hue range from medium deep color to deep color by various dyeing methods unlimited to a specific dyeing method. SOLUTION: The method for the processing of a fiber structure comprises the application of a cationizing agent to a colored fiber structure, and the treatment of the structure with a treating liquid containing a film-forming resin and fine inorganic particles to form a coating film containing the film-forming resin and the fine inorganic particles on the surface of the fiber structure.
