BIT HOLDER DEVICE

A bit holder device (1) is capable of holding a machine screw (3) with a bit body (2) inserted in a groove in the machine screw (3) and of screwing the machine screw (3) into a workpiece (A) while holding the machine screw (3) against separating from the bit body (2). The bit body (2) can be exchanged without being removed from the chuck of a motor-driven tool or the like. The bit holder device (1) has a holder main body (4) removably holding the bit body (2) and having a shank (6) in the rear. The holder main body (4) has a cylindrical cover member (5) fitted thereon from the front end. The front end of the cover member (5) has the bit body (2) projecting therefrom and has a magnetized section (19) adapted to be magnetically seated on the machine screw head.
