摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device in which efficiency of the device as a whole is improved by suppressing increase in power loss due to application of a voltage waveform to a data electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The device is characterized by the structure in which one field is constituted of a plurality of sub fields having a light emission sustaining period, weighting is performed to the sub fields, outputting driving pulses N times as many as the number of the weighting, and in which gradation expression is performed by adjusting the number of the driving pulses for sustaining light emission in each pixel.
