摘要

A novel microorganism capable of in a waste water containing bactericidal organic compounds of low biodegradability such as cresol, phenol, formaldehyde and methanol, efficiently decomposing the organic compounds. There is also provided a method of decomposing bactericidal organic compounds of low biodegradability such as phenol, formaldehyde, methanol and cresol with the use of the above microorganism.
