The invention provides an improvement of a roller assembly for a roller testing stand comprising at least two rotatingly to be driven first rollers with a small diameter, having mutually parallel axes and designed to support the tyre of a wheel of a vehicle to be tested while at both sides of the set at least one additional second roller, also with small diameter, is provided in such a way that the height thereof is adjustable, such that each of these additional rollers can be brought from a low position, in which they lie next to the first rollers and are free from a tyre resting on these first rollers can be brought into a high position in which they lie against the tyre and additionally support it. This results in a roller testing stand which has a low profile but which can nevertheless handle considerably powers and onto which a motor vehicle to be tested can be very easily driven.
