PURPOSE: A method and a device for broadcasting/searching web contents on the Internet using a P2P(Peer-to-Peer) technology are provided to use unused resource in a peer terminal, make a search speed fast by receiving the searched contents from the peer terminal not a central server, and easily distribute the contents on the Internet by using the peer terminal. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting/receiving part(1901) transmits or receives needed information through the network. A contents storing part receives/stores a contents file. An index manager(1903) extracts a keyword from the contents file stored in the contents storing part, stores index information combining the keyword and the information for the contents file to an index database, and transmits the index information to a hub terminal integrally managing the index information of the peer terminals. A web server(1905) receives the keyword from the hub terminal, searches/extracts the contents matched with the keyword from the index database, reads the corresponding contents from the contents storing part, and transmits it to the hub terminal.
