The mechanism comprises a drive component (20) rotatably mounted on a base (10) and driven by an external power source, a return component (30) mounted on the base and connected to the drive component and a unidirectional actuator (40) linked to a connecting part (26) of the drive component. The return component is designed to accumulate a return force as the drive component rotates and release the accumulated force in order to rotate the drive component in the opposite direction. The actuator can be connected to an external runner roll in order to transfer the rotary force of the drive component to an external device.
