A universal fitting bracket for wall mounted rack systems, e.g. vending racks, bookshelves etc., has a flat bracket (12) with one fixed hook (2) to locate into a slotted upright and one movable hook (20) on a separate plate (14) which has an adjustable fitting on the bracket. The main bracket has an upper flange (32) to support a shelf and a locating profile (24) at the lower end onto which is located the slotted plate. The plate has infinite adjustment via the locating profile and slot with the selected setting secured by a locking fastener set through a hole (30) on the bracket and clamped into a second slot (28).
