PURPOSE:To facilitate the data input, by providing a means which displays character symbols with distinction between a designated character symbol and other character symbols in the general expression which is being displayed. CONSTITUTION:Display controller 9 consists of numeric decoder part 9A and general expression decoder part 9B, and numeric data from key input part 8, operation result data obtained by operating circuit 7, etc. are inputted to numeric decoder part 9A through the X register. Meanwhile, general expression data inputted from the display buffer is inputted to general expression decoder part 9B. When display instruction signal D is inputted, numeric decoder part 9A and general expression decoder part 9B decode numeric data and general expression data respectively and output and display them on display part 10. Display part 10 is provided with the general expression display part and the numeric display part, and data corresponding to the designated character symbol is called and displayed on the numeric display part by the operation of recall key RCL of key input part 8. |
