Workpiece may be made in two parts which may be welded together. The parts are held by a lower spring clamp member and an upper clamp member holding a rotating optical system. The coherent laser beam passes down a vertical tube to a first angled mirror which reflects it onto a second angled mirror. This focuses the beam onto the join between the two parts of the workpiece. |
