The bearing has two retaining units (24), each including a radial bead (25) placed axially between a radial flange of an operating device (2) and non-revolving rings (5) of a thrust bearing. An axial retaining strip (26) connected directly on the bead has the retaining units with a control unit, at its free end. The strip traverses an opening in the flange of the operating device.
