DISCHARGE LAMP HAVING 2-BAND PHOSPHOR FOR IMPROVING LIGHTING PROPERTIES AND ACCOMPLISHING HIGH LUMINOUS FLUX

PURPOSE: A discharge lamp having a 2-band phosphor is provided to improve lighting properties of the discharge lamp, obtain small color locus displacement as long as the lamp is used, and accomplish high luminous flux. CONSTITUTION: A discharge lamp includes a discharge vessel(2), a discharge medium contained in the discharge vessel, and a phosphor formed on the inner wall of the discharge vessel. The discharge medium emits electromagnetic radiation of VUV(Vacuum UV) region when the lamp is operated. The phosphor includes a yellow phosphor component(5) and a blue phosphor component(4).
