<p>PURPOSE:To independently set the range of the remote control operation of the installing location of a magnetic recording and reproducing device by setting variably the direction of the reception side of a remote control receiver. CONSTITUTION:The remote control receiver 2 is mounted to a rotary support member 7 or the like of a bolt shape stood onto a base 6 in, e.g., a VTR main body 1 and the direction of the reception face in the horizontal direction, that is, the receiving direction is set variably. Thus, when the operator applies the remote control from, e.g., an operating point 4, the direction of the reception face of the remote control receiver 2 is set to attain the reception. Moreover, when the operator is at the location of the operating point 8, the reception face of the remote control receiver 2 is directed in the receptionable direction and then set. Thus, the reception face of the remote control receiver 2 is set variably in this way to cope with the remote control in an optional direction without changing the directivity.</p> |
