PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily join a steel tube column to an H-shaped steel frame beam, and secure quality. SOLUTION: In this column-to-beam connecting structure for connecting the steel tube column 1 to the H-shaped steel frame beam 2, an outside steel tube 4 larger in diameter than the cross section of the column having slits 5 is disposed on the outer periphery of the steel tube column 1, the column and beam connection members 6 are inserted into the slits 5, and beam connection piece parts 6a are projected to the outside of the outside steel tube 4. Slit engagement parts 6b are disposed on the inside of the outside steel tube 4, the beam connection pieces 6a are connected to beam flanges 2a and 2b with high tension bolts 7, and a material 8 hardening with elapse of time is filled in a clearance between the steel tube column 1 and the outside steel tube 4.
