PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter improved in operability, safety and operating efficiency, facilitating manual operation preferentially so as to enable the lift control of a planting section to be halted when an operator intends to do so, thus mitigating the operator's burden. SOLUTION: The rice transplanter has the following control mechanism: A traveling section 1 is mounted with the planting section 4 via a lift link mechanism 27, the planting section 4 is made liftable by a lift actuator, the operation of lifting the planting section 4 is carried out by a steering handle 14 or an operating switch 50 close to a seat 13, and the operating switch 50 and the lift actuator are connected to a control section 100 to enable their lift control.
