PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an on-vehicle information providing apparatus reducing a sense of incongruity of an occupant who observes the information providing apparatus in a cabin when a vehicle rolls. SOLUTION: A display device 104 is configured by a transmission-type liquid crystal display device, etc., entertainment information by display data inputted from an information source device 102 is displayed on a liquid crystal display panel so that an occupant can observe the information, and a scene outside a vehicle on the front (almost infinite information) is allowed to pass through the liquid crystal display panel so that the occupant can observe the scene. A detector 103 detects the roll of the vehicle. If a detection value is not less than a predetermined value, the transmissivity of the liquid crystal display panel of the display device 104 is made large, and the saturation, intensity and contrast of the entertainment information are made low so that priority is given to the almost infinite information over the entertainment information. On the other hand, if the detection value is lower than the predetermined value, the transmissivity of the liquid crystal display panel of the display device 104 is made small and the saturation, intensity and contrast of the entertainment information are made large so that priority is given to the entertainment information over the almost infinite information.
