PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treatment tank which has a flow rate adjusting tank, is used for treating waste water containing a solid and is constituted in such a way that sewage can be transferred without accumulating the solid in a scale even when the planned amount of the sewage is small, the transferred amount of the sewage can be confirmed and the waste water treatment tank can be easily maintained. SOLUTION: The flow velocity of the sewage is made to be the prescribed one (≥0.6 m/s) and the flow rate is made to be the prescribed one (≥50 L/minute) at an outlet of the scale 13 arranged in the flow rate adjusting tank so that the solid is hardly accumulated in the scale 13. The prescribed amount of the sewage is transferred by a pump 9 arranged in the flow rate adjusting tank by controlling the pump 9 so that the pump 9 is operated for the prescribed time once an hour. The outlet height of a weir of a sewage transferring part of the scale 13 disposed in the flow rate adjusting tank is fixed and the outlet height of a weir of a sewage returning part is made to be zero so that even if the solid is accumulated, the accumulated solid can be returned to the waste water treatment tank together with returning water.
