PURPOSE: A CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture) communication system and a method in a network equipment are provided to exchange and manage a CORBA object reference with a CORBA process embedded in a network equipment by using object interfaces, thereby easily CORBA-communicating with an embedded system without transmitting/receiving an IOR(Inter-operable Object Reference) file. CONSTITUTION: Object interfaces(21,31) convert self object names in IOR string to supply an API, and exchange CORBA objects(22,32) to perform CORBA communication. The object interface(21) within an embedded system(20) defines an IDL such that each CORBA process can register self names and IORs, and defines an option for exchanging the registered IORs with the object interface(31) of a stand alone system(30). The object interface(21) processes a UDP/IP communication server operation for carrying out UDP communication. The object interface(31) defines an IDL, and loads a self IOR on a UDP packet when an object exchange with the object interface(21) is necessary, then transmits the UDP packet to the embedded system(20).
