<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle having a pedal of integrating an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal giving consideration to many drivers and pursuing safety and reassurance. <P>SOLUTION: In the integrated accelerator brake pedal 1, the accelerator pedal 2 for operating starting and acceleration of a vehicle, and the brake pedal 3 for operating stopping and deceleration are consolidated. A center of the integrated accelerator brake pedal 10 is attached to a base 25 so it can turn around a pedal supporting point 21, an arrow A direction provides an accelerator effect, and an arrow B direction provides a brake effect. A spring 6 is attached between the integrated accelerator brake pedal 1 and the base 25 to provide a mechanism applying constant braking to the vehicle. Rails 29 and pedal fixing recessed parts 33 are attached in both right and left sides of an installation place of the pedal so that the pedal can be installed in either of the right side and the left side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
