PURPOSE: A composite deck composing a lower frame and a concrete slab is provided to heighten structural safety by reducing the thickness of concrete in comparison with a deck composed of reinforced concrete only, preventing the section enlargement of a lower structure for supporting a deck by reducing the weight of a deck and preventing the brittle fracture of a deck by composing a concrete slab. CONSTITUTION: The composite deck(1) contains: a lower frame(10) provided with hollows(14), which are formed longitudinally and continuously by an upper plate(11), a lower plate(12) and a partition(13) and formed horizontally to form the shape of a tube, and made of lightweight and high-strength materials such as FRP, aluminum, steel, etc.; and a concrete slab(20) having the appointed thickness and unified to the upper part of the lower frame(10). A shear connector is installed on an upper plate(11) of a lower frame(10) and buried under a concrete slab(20) to compose the lower frame(10) and the concrete slab(20). |
