<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot matrix type display device using light self-emitting elements that can prevent display from sticking. <P>SOLUTION: On the display device where a plurality of light self-emitting elements are arrayed in a dot matrix shape, icons, images, characters, etc., are displayed in at least part of the display area of the display device.
