<p>PURPOSE:To detect the movement of an articulation by sticking a strain gauge to one side face of a metallic foil, sticking an adhesive material stuck to the skin of a person to the other face side, and connecting the strain gauge to a processor of a bridge box. CONSTITUTION:A metallic foil 1 is constituted of a metal such as a stainless steel, etc., whose thickness is about 20mum, and can be curved easily. To one face of this metallic foil 1, a tape-like strain gauge 2 is stuck with an adhesive material, and covered with a soft coating material 3 such as silicone, etc. Also, on the other face of the metallic foil 1, an adhesive tape 4 to be stuck to the skin and clothes of an articulation is stuck. A bending angle sensor A constituted in such a way is stuck to the skin of an articulation of fingers 9a, 9b of a hand of a person to be examined, or with the tape 4 via a glove. When the articulation to which this sensor is stuck is bent, the metallic foil 1 of the sensor is bent in accordance with a bending angle, a bending strain in this case is detected by a gauge 2, and this strain quantity is converted to an electric signal through a bridge box 7 and an amplifier 8, and outputted.</p> |
