The invention relates to a valve stem seal for internal combustion engines, comprising a dynamic sealing part applied to a valve stem, and a static sealing part which consists of elastomer materials and is applied to the valve stem guide, said static sealing part being surrounded by a dimensionally stable reinforcing body. The inventive seal is characterised by a bearing ring (14,20) that is separate from the reinforcing ring (7) of the static sealing part (6) and enables a free rotational movement of the valve spring (11) and the valve spring retainer.
