<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag which has no sealed part with a weak heat welding force and has vapor venting function that a rupture does not occur oven when subjected to a heat treatment using a microwave oven, and a package using the packaging bag. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging bag (10) is made of a synthetic resin, and has respective sealed parts at an upper edge part (11), both side edge parts (12, 13), and a bottom edge part (14). The bag (10) also has two upside corners, where projecting sealed parts (15, 16) projecting slantly upward are formed, respectively. A small opening (17) is formed near the center of the projecting sealed part (15), and an incision (n) is formed at a spot on the outer edge of one side edge sealed part that is near the projecting sealed part (16), where the small opening (n) formed near the center of the projecting sealed part has a width smaller than the maximum width of the projecting sealed part (16).
