PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-up chopper circuit of low loss composed of a switching power transistor, an inductor for accumulating energy, and a transistor with a rectification function. SOLUTION: When switching power transistor 1 is on, a rectifying transistor 7 is off while the switching power transistor 1 is off, the rectifying transistor 7 is shorted between a drain and a gate to be used as a diode in forward bias mode, thus switching the switching power transistor 1 and switching of an electrostatic induction transistor are in synchronous rectification.
