摘要 A system and method are provided for autonomously training an operator to manipulate an object, such as a robotics device in space or simulated in-space conditions. Input parameters are gathered during a presented training exercise and used to provide feedback to the operator relating to the results of the training exercise. The feedback can be presented as graphical and textual data, and can be shown in varying degrees of detail. The system can advantageously determine a factor having a high correlation between the result of the training exercise and the operator's level of skill relating to that determined factor, which helps the operator to define the cause of the training result. Training is preferably presented to the operator based on baseline skill levels associated with a stored operator's profile. A system and method are also provided to monitor and mitigate operator critical skill degradation.
