PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method dispensing a reagent to an arbitrary position on a biological specimen within the limits of a several hundred micron-level area, and controlling an amount of the dispensed reagent in a nanoliter-level, and to provide an analysis method for the biological specimen, using the method. SOLUTION: In this dispensing method of the reagent to the biological specimen, a reagent solution is supplied and stuck to a specific area on the biological specimen including a cell or tissue by an inkjet method. In this analysis method for the biological specimen, after supplying and sticking the reagent solution to the specific area on the biological specimen including the cell or the tissue by the inkjet method to dispense the reagent to the biological specimen, a target substance in the cell or the tissue is analyzed by microscopic observation or mass spectrometry.
