PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a nondestructive egg inspection device compact and inexpensive and to improve inspection precision. SOLUTION: The nondestructive egg inspection device identifies whether an egg is normal or abnormal according to the intensity of light through the egg by irradiating the egg with light. The nondestructive egg inspection device comprises a light source (1) for successively applying a plurality of light emitting elements (2 and 3) having a predetermined light wavelength to the egg (12) with a time difference; one light receiving unit (7) that receives light through the egg as received light and is installed opposite to the light source; and a measurement/control circuit (11) having a means for driving the light emitting element, and a determining means for determining the presence or absence of failure in the egg, based on the intensity of received light.
