PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual paper feeding device capable of miniaturizing a manually operated base when storing it and achieving stable conveyance performance when using it. SOLUTION: This manual paper feeding device is provided with the manually operated base 12 held turnably in the direction of opening and closing of a main body of a copying machine and opened when feeding a paper to carry the paper into the main body. This manual paper feeding device is provided with bosses 12d functioning as a pair of turn fulcrums provided at an interval in the direction crossing the direction of paper feeding orthogonally on a free end part side of the manually operated base 12 and a pair of extension members 14 whose one ends are turnably attached to the bosses 12d, respectively, whose turn locus is substantially parallel with a paper loading face 12s of the manually operated base 12, and which are extended in the direction parallel with the direction of paper feeding when used and are stored in a recessed part 17 in the direction crossing the direction of paper feeding orthogonally to prevent it from protruding from an end part of the manually operated base 12.
