PURPOSE: A method for measuring a receiving sensitivity of a code division multiple access(CDMA) base station is provided to exactly measure the sensitivity, by applying an external signal source and a measuring software instead of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring a receiving sensitivity of a code division multiple access(CDMA) base station using an external signal source, comprises the steps of: modulating a signal inputted from a receiving terminal of a base station; separating the modulated signal to demodulate the signal, and separating the signal into data and cyclic redundancy checks(CRC); comparing CRC of the signal source with the CRC of the signal; calculating a frame error rate(FER) to report a calculated result; deciding whether a test has to be continued; and if not, completing the test, and if the test has to be continued, performing the test from the step of modulating a signal. |
