<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact IC card which can prevent the destruction of an IC chip by heat generation even if an excessive magnetic field is applied from an external device. <P>SOLUTION: In the non-contact IC card (so-called wireless card) 20, a temperature detecting part 29 provided in an IC chip 31 determines that the temperature in the IC chip 31 is at a level not less than a predetermined level, switching transistors 23a, 23b inserted in series between an antenna part 21 and a rectifier circuit 22 are off-controlled, thereby preventing, for example, destruction of the IC chip 31 or peeling of a connection portion of the antenna part 21 by heat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
