PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the following problem: in order to enhance humectancy of a natural fibrous material and improve hand feeling and comfortability in wearing, a method for coating the fibrous material with sericin, silk fibroin, chitosane or the like is well known, but the processed natural fibrous material is inferior in hand feeling, durability and the like. SOLUTION: The natural fibrous material is processed by crosslinking reaction using cyanuric chloride and/or a water soluble dichlorotriazine-based compound.
