<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an error occurs in disk recording information, when a sufficient strobe margin cannot be secured in the phases of the modulation signal and a recording clock of strobing the modulation signal, in a laser driving integrated circuit for driving a laser diode by forming a recording strategy from a recording clock and a modulation signal. <P>SOLUTION: The laser driving integrated circuit is provided with a means for detecting the modulation error of the strobed modulation signal and inverting the phase of the recording clock when the the error occurs. Also, the circuit is provided with means for strobing the modulation signal by a plurality of the recording clocks varying in the phases used for shift adjustment of the recording pulse within the laser driving integrated circuit, selecting a strobe signal of the largest strobe margin from the obtained results, and selecting the recording clock to make the strobe margin largest among the plurality of the recording blocks from the obtained results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
