<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye sensitized solar cell superior in durability wherein an enough photoelectric conversion efficiency can be maintained for a long term, in a dye sensitized solar cell which comprises a semiconductor electrode containing anatase-type titanium dioxide and an electrolyte containing a compound having an ester bond. <P>SOLUTION: The dye sensitized solar cell 20 comprises a photoelectrode 10 which comprises the semiconductor electrode 2 with a light receiving surface F2 containing anatase-type titanium dioxide, and dye as component materials and a transparent electrode 1 having the light receiving surface F1 on the opposite side of a face contacting the semiconductor electrode 2; and a counter electrode CE. The semiconductor electrode 2 and the counter electrode CE are disposed via the electrolyte E so as to be opposed to each other. A compound having an ester bond is contained as a solvent in the electrolyte E; and a light absorption member A is adjacent to the light receiving surface F1 of the photoelectrode 10, and has light transmission characteristics. The light transmittance is not more than 0.2% at a wavelength of ≥290 nm and ≤385 nm, and the light transmittance is not less than 85% at a wavelength of ≥450 nm and ≤900 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
