PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detecting device with a sliding angle of a screw enlarged for preventing the screw from being damaged when tightening the screw, and for increasing the slide angle of the screw, without relying on a user's experience and instinct when detecting the sliding torque of the screw. SOLUTION: The torque detecting device with the enlarged sliding angle of the screw has: a gear 4 for increasing the sliding angle of an input axis placed above an input axis 5 by holding it by hand, which constitute an angle detecting part 2; the input axis penetrating through the center of the gear; a shutter 7 connected to the lower part of the input axis to measure the sliding angle; a shutter seal 8 attached to the bottom surface of the shutter to output the sliding angle; and an optical sensor 9 for detecting the sliding angle by emitting an optical signal such as diode to the shutter seal and detecting the reflected optical signal.
