PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum salt which can improve record-regenerating characteristics in a photorecording medium, to provide the photorecording medium using the aluminum salt, and to provide an infrared cutting filter having excellent light resistance and excellent heat resistance. SOLUTION: This aluminum salt comprises an aluminum cation and an anion. Therein, the aluminum cation has a skeletal structure of the formula [(m) is an integer of 1 or 2; amino groups which may have substituents are bound to the 4-positions of the four phenyl groups, respectively, which are bonded to the two nitrogen atoms bound to the rings A; at least one of the four amino groups has a cyanoalkyl group as a substitutent; and the rings A and B may further have substituents].
