PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reproduce phase pit data without deteriorating the playability even in the case of reproduction by an existing optical disk reproducing device by wobbling tracks in a lead-out area of an optical disk and recording additional information therein. SOLUTION: Among an lead-in area 101, a data area 102, and a lead-out area 103, prescribed information is superimposed and recorded on the lead-out area 103 in addition to information by a fixed data pattern presenting that this area is an lead-out area. Moreover, as for a form of a phase pit string in each area, a pit string 201 in the lead-in area and a pit string in the data area 202 have their pits arranged in the same direction as the tracks, while the lead-out area 203 has the pits arranged snaking with respect to the direction of the tracks. This snaking cycle should be such as its carrier frequency becomes constant in frequency conversion at the time of being reproduced at a prescribed linear velocity. |
