<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attenuation element formed for insertion thereof into inner rooms of percussion instruments, especially a bass drum. <P>SOLUTION: With regard to the attenuation element formed and specified for inserting into the inner rooms of the percussion instruments, especially the bass drum, the attenuation element (10) is formed in a cushion shape, an upper side (15) and a lower side (16) are provided, and one or a plurality of materials (19) having acoustic attenuation properties are arranged between the upper side (15) and the lower side (16).
