<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display with excellent color saturation both in a reflective display mode and in a transmissive display mode in a color liquid crystal panel having both a reflective display function and a transmissive display function. <P>SOLUTION: The color liquid crystal panel is provided with a first substrate 10 disposed on the light source side, a second substrate 2 placed opposite to the first substrate 10 and disposed on the observer's side, a liquid crystal layer 6 interposed between the first and second substrates 10, 2, a color filter layer 3 interposed between the first and second substrates 10, 2, a first transflective film 9 disposed closer to the light source side than the liquid crystal layer 6 and the color filter layer 3, reflecting external light incident from the observer's side and transmitting light from the light source incident from the light source side and a second transflective film 13 disposed closer to the observer's side than the color filter layer 3, and reflecting the external light and transmitting light from the light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
