<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and to extend battery operation time by controlling automatic power supply ON when a battery is operated in a portable information processor operated by a battery. SOLUTION: This information processor has a power supply controlling means 103 controlling the operation of a power supply, an automatic power supply ON requesting means 102 which requesting the power supply ON or resume according to an event, an AC line detecting means 101 detecting the connection of an AC line, a device state recording means 106 storing the state of a device and a power supply ON permission recording means 107 storing power supply ON permission and disapproval information corresponding to a device state or a power supply state and suppresses the waste of a battery power supply by negating the power supply ON or resume request of the information processor 105 from the means 102 according to an AC line connection state.</p> |
