PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of improving the accuracy of air distribution ratio. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, a blower fan 2 is off-set, and a partition plate 5 for dividing a ventilation passage is provided upstream of an evaporator 1. A ventilation resistance means 8 for preventing air from flowing out from the divided ventilation passage 3B on the blower fan 2 side to the divided ventilation passage 3A on the opposite side is provided in the downstream end of the partition plate 5.
